Scare Mare and Liberty University - October 15 - 16.  Tour Liberty University, go to a football game, go through Scare Mare and attend Thomas Road Baptist Church on Sunday morning.  A lot more information coming soon.  Check back.

Sign Up for O.C.C.

Our annual mission/service trip to the OCC processing center in Charlotte, NC will be Tuesday, November 22 to Sunday, November 27.  The cost is $210 for all five nights!  You need to sign up by October 2.  Application forms can be downloaded here or by clicking on the link to the right, or from Joel at CRUX.  You can download more information about our trip here or to the right as well.    

"Courageous" Movie Night

Wednesday night October 5, CRUX will be heading to the Cinema Center in Selinsgrove to see the movie "Courageous"!  You can see more about the movie by clicking here.  Invite your friends, but you HAVE to sign up before we go.  The cost is $5.00 per person but don't let money keep you away from coming.  Talk to Joel about a scholarship either for you or your friend(s).  We will leave at 6:45 PM and return about 10 PM.  You can sign up at CRUX or by sending me a Facebook message or calling the church office - 717-694-3490.

Nerve To Serve Registration

 Do you have the "Never to Serve" for a week right here in the greater Richfield area?  CRUX Student Ministries is planning a week this summer, June 26 - July 1, for teens 13 years old and older to serve others by painting, clearing brush and much more!  The cost is only $50 and that includes everything you need!  We will be staying together in a local cabin and working during the day at work projects and then in the evening at RMC's Bible School and/or Soccer Camp.  You can register by downloading and filling out this form.  You will also be able to download it by clicking on the link to the right (soon).

We are really hoping you will join us for a fun and meaningful week.

Summer Retreat

The CRUX Summer Retreat is planned for June 10 - 12 in Gaines, PA.  The theme of the weekend will be "The Music of our Lives".  The cost will be $35.00.  However, if you sign up by May 1, that cost goes down to $25 - our "early bird" rate.  If you sign up between May 2 and May 16, the rate will be $30.  After May 16 the retreat will be the regular rate of $35.  Register online here.  You can download a "Consent" form here.  You will need a consent form filled out and in before June 6! 

Special CRUX Night - Wednesday, April 13

Meet at the FLC at 6:15 PM to go see the movie "Soul Surfer" for this special CRUX event. The cost will be $5.00 and we will return around 9:20 PM.

Fill the Jug for Water

We are hoping you will want to participate in a 5 week project for the Blood: Water Mission. Here is more about the mission.

Although we are telling you what to give like the video says, we are asking you to consider giving something
toward fresh water in Africa. Will you take the challenge. Bring your gifts to CRUX each Wednesday and deposit them into the water jug in our room. Let's fill the jug!

Attention Drummers Going to Impact

If you are going to IMPACT or know someone who is, please pass this along. The following is from Dave Hummel. Please let me know if you would be interested.

"I just got off the phone with our MC for Impact, TJ Foltz. TJ is looking for drummers who would like to really get into a drum session. The only requirement is no drum or drum sticks are to be used, but they can bring anything with them to impact to pound on that they can think of, be creative.

Practice for this pounding band will be Sat afternoon, right after the pm seminar, in the main ballroom. It will last about 15 minutes."

We need to let him know BEFORE Impact.

Don't forget that Friday, February 25 (and every 2nd and 4th Fridays) we have breakfast at Cruiser's Cafe at 6:30 AM! If you need a ride, be at the church parking lot by 6:15 AM.
